About Sloan Canyon
Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area’s 48,438 acres is “the hidden jewel” of Southern Nevada and provides peace and solitude for those who bike through its unique scenic and geologic features. Surroundings can vary from lowland dry lake beds to volcanic rock peaks reaching more than 5,000 feet. Experience spectacular wilderness in this remote area, with no paved roads, no trail markers and no visitor’s center. The area is best known for the historic petroglyphs, created by native cultures from the Archaic to historic era.
