Here are some FAQs regarding Matthew’s Movement Memorial Ride on October 16th at SPEEDVEGAS

Do I need to register?   Yes, please register at Eventbrite!  This is a free event, but in order to properly prepare, we need to know how many people are attending.

When do the doors open?  Doors open at 6 a.m.

What does the course look like?  This ride will be Epic and unlike anything you have ever experienced before.  You will be riding on a 1.5 mile race track with 12 incredible turns and a half mile straight.

Do I ride my own bike? Yes and it will be awesome!

What else should I bring with me? Please bring water bottles, helmet, and cash for the auction items and donations.

Are the rides timed? A Strava segment will be set up, so bring your GPS.

What is the difference between the 7am and 8am ride? The 7am ride is designated for intermediate to advanced riders.  The 8am ride is for families, kids and beginners.

How many laps can I do? This is an open ride, so you can crank out as many laps as you want.

Is food provided? We will have endurance nutrition provided by Infinit and some small snacks.

Will there be a bike repair if needed? Yes, Bike Blast Las Vegas will be on hand to assist with any bike repairs that are needed during the rides.

What types of bikes are allowed on the track? All road, mountain and leisure bikes are permitted during this ride.  However, we prefer that only road bikes be used during the 7am ride.

Where do the donations go? Matthew Hunt’s family is setting up a non-profit foundation to support other families who find themselves thrown into tragedy by a cycling accident and also continue to raise bike safety awareness.

I can’t make the ride, but I would like to support the cause. Thank you, we are accepting donations at Crowdrise

Can I do more to help?  If you or your company would like to make a donation to our auction, please contact Matthew’s mother, Cynthia Finnegan at   Thank you!
