Great for beginners riders and above; enjoyed by both road cyclists and mountain bikers.
Follow the same route as the railroad that once carried the construction workers to the Hoover Dam. This route goes through 6 tunnels and provides great views of Lake Mead with a large easy to follow path right down to the top of the Hoover Dam.
Please note that all Hoover Dam guests are supplied with a bike lock so that you can freely explore Hoover Dam without the burden of walking your bike around with you. This bike rack is located in the garage on your way to the parking level 5. This garage is located near the guard station just prior to your entrance of Hoover Dam (see below).
About Hoover Dam
Named one of the Top 10 Construction Achievements of the 20th Century, Hoover Dam continues to draw crowds more than 70 years after its creation. It’s located in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Arizona and Nevada. Hoover Dam impounds Lake Mead and is the largest reservoir in the United States by volume. A National Historic Landmark, it is the highest concrete dam in the Western Hemisphere, standing at more than 725 feet above the Colorado River.
